Small Business Marketing Agency

A real small business marketing agency should run the three channels that move walk-in and book-now businesses: Google Business Profile, social media that stays consistent, and email you actually own. Flat monthly pricing. Clear scope. Almost no homework for the owner.

Sol Agency was built for owner-operated shops, not enterprise brands. Founder Ashley Clark spent 8 years in retail leadership before 5 years in digital marketing, which is why our work feels practical instead of theoretical.

What a small business marketing agency should deliver

Who we are a fit for

Beauty and nail salons, yoga and wellness studios, childcare and preschool programs, and pet grooming shops. If that is you, we already speak your world. See vertical pages for salons, yoga studios, childcare, and pet groomers.

Who we are not a fit for

National ecommerce brands, venture-backed SaaS, or companies that need a 12-person creative department. We will not pretend otherwise.

How we are different from a generic digital agency

A lot of agencies are built for bigger budgets, bigger teams, and bigger brands. Sol was built for owner-operated shops. That changes the work. We do not sell 18-channel brand platforms. We sell the few channels that move local service businesses, executed every month without drama.

Ashley's retail background matters here. Foot traffic, staffing realities, and seasonal swings are familiar, not abstract. When we write a caption or a Google post, it has to survive a Tuesday that already has three call-outs and a supply delivery.

Onboarding without a six-week science project

We typically go live within about 5 to 7 business days after access and assets are in place. Onboarding covers Google Business Profile access, social access, brand voice, and the photo habit that keeps content real. Setup is $150 and waived until August 30, 2026.

After that, your monthly time should stay under half an hour. If a process needs more from you than that, we redesign the process.

Reporting you can actually read

Growth and Premium include monthly reporting. You should see profile interactions, content shipped, and what we recommend next. No vanity dashboards designed to impress a board. If something is not working, we say that too.

Cancel with 14 days written notice before the next cycle. We keep the relationship honest on purpose. Results should earn the retainer.

Frequently asked questions

What does a small business marketing agency cost?

Sol Agency runs $399, $799, or $1,299 per month depending on scope. Setup is $150 and waived until August 30, 2026. No long-term lock-in beyond 14 days notice.

How much of my time will this take?

Under 30 minutes a month once onboarding is done. You send photos and approvals. We handle the rest.

Do you only work in California?

Our offices and focus are Sacramento area and San Diego, with work across markets including Los Angeles. We work with local service businesses that want nearby customers.

Is this the same as hiring a freelancer?

Sometimes freelancers are great. An agency relationship gives you a fixed scope, a defined package, and continuity when one person is out sick. You are buying a system, not a lottery ticket.
